UM-Presque Isle
    Mark Robert Bartlett of Weston was named to dean’s list at the University of Maine at Presque Isle for the spring semester.
University of Maine at Orono
    ORONO — The University of Maine recognized 2,026 students for achieving Dean’s List honors in the spring 2012 semester. Of the students who made the Deans List, 1,728 are from Maine, 242 are from out of state, and 56 are from foreign countries.
    Local students named to the list include: Crystal, Shelby Hartin; Houlton, Emily Bartlett, Tiffany Bossie, Parker Brown, Emily DeWitt, Joshua Drew, Casey Faulkingham, Dylan Gard, Courtney Good, Marcy Hernandez, Molly McGuire, Susan Pierce, Samantha Toner and Rachael Torres; Linneus, Katelyn Duff; Littleton, Stephannie Kreyssig.
    Also, Sherman, Matthew McAvoy, James Zabierek; Danforth, Brianna Hanington and Kasi Parker; Stacyville, Brittany Fogarty; and Patten, Andrew Vetter.
Gerath earns honors
    DURHAM, N.H. — Megan Gerath of Houlton has earned highest honors for the spring semester of the 2011-2012 academic year at the University of New Hampshire.
    Students named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hamsphire have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance. Highest Honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.7 or better out of a possible 4.0.
Holmes honored
    Benjamin Allyn Holmes, the son of Ralph and Chantelle (Worthley) Holmes formerly of Houlton graduated from Brewer High School. His grandparents are Dana and Ruth Worthley, and the late Walter and Marjorie Holmes. Holmes lives in Eddington. He will attend the University of Maine at Orono.
