Maple Meadow Farm Festival

PAULA LEAVITT, of Troy, drove a McCormick Deering No. 7 two-horse mower during the Maple Meadow Farm Festival last weekend. The team of spotted draft horses are owned by Elmin Mitchell, also of Troy. Mounting the mower, she said she wanted Mitchell to walk along side of her commenting, “I’m terrified … this is a lot different from cutting at home,” but after getting started, she managed just fine and drew quite an audience!
