LIMESTONE and PERHAM – Floyd Guy King, 90, passed away Sunday evening, July 8, 2012, at a health care facility in Frenchville. He was born in Perham on Nov. 6,1921, the son of Linneus and Edna (Roy) King. He worked on area farms for his father, Archie Silver and Cliff McIntyre. He loved to go fishing in his spare time.
He is survived by his brother, Roy King and his nephew, Timothy King, both of Woodland; a close friend and pastor, Charlie Campbell of Limestone.
He was predeceased by a son, Dusty Roy King; a brother, Alton King; three sisters, Angelia Curtis, Rachel Kahn, and Iris Bouchard.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012, at the High Street Baptist Church in Limestone with Pastor Charlie Campbell officiating. Friends may call 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. A reception will be held immediately following the service in the church reception hall. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Perham.
