PRESQUE ISLE — The Presque Isle Police Department has had at least two recent reports of broken windows at area businesses. The first was reported June 13 and another report was made on June 25.

The first call was made by the owner of the storage building located adjacent to the Aroostook River Bridge on North Main Street, next to the ATV trail. The man told police someone had thrown rocks through all the windows at the back of the facility. Officer Rob Thibeault was assigned to investigate.
The second involved the SAD 1 bus garage, located at 203 Parsons Rd., with the report made by Officer Joey Seeley while on patrol. It was noted in the police log that this was the second broken window at the building in a week. The case remains under investigation.

Police ask anyone with information on these criminal mischief cases to call the PIPD at 764-4476.
