The Maine Canoe and Kayak Racing Organization (MaCKRO) will hold one of its Thursday evening flatwater series races on Nickerson Lake in New Limerick on Thursday, July 26 at 6:30 p.m. The approximate four mile course starts at the boat landing, proceeds to the far end of the lake, turns a buoy, and returns.
Any individual who wishes to paddle the course is welcome to attend. There is no entry fee, or any prizes; just a chance to compete against others with similar interests. For more information, contact Fred Ludwig at 532-7866.
