ASHLAND – Lee E. Lovewell, 27, died Sunday, July 29, 2012, at a Presque Isle hospital, following a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 23, 1984, in Presque Isle, a son of Arlen and Terri (Wilson) Lovewell.
He was a 2003 graduate of Ashland Community High School and had been employed as a mill worker for Fraser Timber Limited in Masardis. Lee truly enjoyed the outdoors, especially bird hunting in the fall, snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter.
Besides his parents, Lee is survived by his brother, Rustin Lovewell of New Hampshire; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Joyce Lovewell of Livermore, and maternal grandparents, Thomas and Maxine Wilson of Salina, KS.
Relatives and friends may call at Stimson-Ouellette Funeral Home, 114 Exchange St., Ashland, from 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, August 1. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., on Thursday, August 2, at the Union Congregational Church, Sheridan Rd., Ashland, with Pastor Nathan Gardiner officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashland Municipal Cemetery.
