Children attending the Monticello Recreation Department this summer held a few fundraisers — a pink parade, Little Ceasar pizza contest and Lemonade Day — to raise money for breast and cancer awareness. The funds will be used for those afflicted with cancer who cannot afford treatment. The children raised $450, including $187 on Lemonade Day in June.
