Students challenge alumni in soccer

The Easton High School girls’ soccer team challenged the alumni to a soccer game recently.

CASSIE LOVELY is ready to show off her soccer skills in Easton’s alumni soccer game.
The participants for the alumni team were: Cassie Lovely, Traci Halvorson, Leslie Ferris, Sam Buck, Meghan Frank, Sydney Trask, Thresa Mosher, Korrin Patterson, Sarah Plourde and Jennifer Morin. The girls on the high school team were: Kylee Carter, Blake Bradley, Carla Halvorson, Mindy Desmond, Mariah Cyr, Nichole Dudley, Kerrigan Arnett, Emma Bonner, Cassie Buck, Hannah Ferris, Taylor Brown, Kelsey Frank, Kennedy Young, Alex Allen, Madison Leach, Kristen West and Elise Allen. Everyone had fun, but the young girls pulled off the win.

DFI team wins title
Dan and Leslie Ferris’ team won the softball championship in Easton. Members of their team consisted of: Rebecca Allen, Dedra Webb, Julie Conrad, Jennifer Morin, Kristie White, Jen Sayer, Kate Parsons, Traci Halvorson, Leslie Ferris, Scott Allen, Dan Ferris, Rob McDowell, Mark Sotomayer, Dan Hersey, Chuck Halvorson, Ian Sotomayer, Hunter Turner, Zach Clark and Scott Smith.
The East Ridge team came in second place.
PTO meeting
There will be a PTO meeting at the elementary school on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 6 p.m. Child care will be provided.

Monday, Aug. 27 — Senior Nutrition Class at the Manor starting at 11 a.m. Cost is $3. Grades 3 and 4 soccer practice from 3-4 p.m. on the soccer field behind the playground.
Tuesday, Aug. 28 — Grades 1 and 2 soccer practice from 3-4 p.m. on the soccer field behind the playground.
