Grades 1-2 soccer

This program will meet at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center before children will be escorted to Teague Park by parks and recreation staff. Participants need only sneakers, shorts or sweatpants, a T-shirt and sweatshirt on cooler days.

The program meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from  3-4:30 p.m. The program runs from Sept. 11 to Oct. 4. In the event of rain, the program will be held in the Wellness and Recreation Center gymnasium.   Registration deadline is Sept. 7.

T.I.O.S.S. Senior and Adult series

Outings and seminars to help adults and seniors fall into shape and keep mentally sharp are offered through the recreation department.

Some of the trips scheduled for late summer and fall include a guided sightseeing tour to Spudland Alpacas and Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum Sept. 4. The fee for this trip is $25, which includes a lunch.

On Sept. 7, a guided sightseeing tour to MIZPAH and the Edmundston Botanical Gardens is scheduled. The fee is $35, which includes a lunch. On Sept. 8, a guided kayak trip down the Madawaska Stream will take place. The fee is $20 and participants must bring a bag lunch.
