Friday, Aug. 31
6 – 9 p.m. — Dance at Sherman Gym for grades 6 – 9.
Saturday, Sept. 1
9 a.m. — Howard Guiggey Mem. Horseshoe Tournament at VFW. FMI call Wayne Guiggey at 365-4832.
10 a.m. — Bandstand opens with hotdogs and food sale.
10 a.m. – 1 p.m. — Cemetery tours.
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. — Free horse and buggy rides by Cathy Bates
11 a.m. – 4-wheeler ride. Start at Masonic Hall. FMI call David Robinson at 365-4307.
2 – 4 p.m. — Tea at The Red House for ladies of all ages. FMI call Jarice Kelley at 365-4656.
5 p.m. — Sherman High Alumni Banquet at Sherman Gym. Honoring classes 1942, 52, 62. Social hour starts at 4 p.m.
6 – 9 p.m. – Public dance for all ages at Town Office parking lot with DJ Shawn Rigby.
9 p.m. — Fireworks beside Town Office. Rain date Sept. 2. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the show.
Sunday, Sept. 2
7:30 – 9:30 a.m. — Breakfast at Masonic Hall.
9 a.m. – Co-ed softball tourney at Sherman Gym. FMI call Ryan Albert at 942-7316.
10 a.m. — Church service at Washburn Memorial Church.
11 .m. — Bandstand opens with hotdogs, pizza, popcorn and cotton candy. Antique farm equipment on display all day at Fire Station.
Noon — Lobster dinner on the Park by Stuart and Jane Rand and family. Hospitality booth opens. FMI call Candy Kelley at 365-7125. Gospel music on the Park. FMI Allison Roy at 538-6851.
12:30 p.m. — Children’s parade, contact Holly McNally at 365-7495.
1 p.m. — Children’s cupcake walk and free children’s games and bike raffle. Call Bev Lane at 365-4650. Other children’s games all open at this time.
3:30 p.m. — Little Miss Old Home Days Pageant – Contact Liz at 365-4518.
4:30 p.m. — Chicken BBQ on the Park by Lane and McNally families.

Monday, September 3
7:30 a.m. — Pumpkin donuts at Cap Perrin’s.
9 a.m. — Co-ed softball tourney continues.
10 a.m. — Parade, celebrating 150th birthday of the town of Sherman, featuring Anah Shrine Units. Line up at Town Office at 9:30 a.m.
10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. — Craft Show at Sherman Gym. Contact Peggy at 365-4307.
11 a.m. — Hospitality booth opens, Beano, children’s games, Bounce tent and Rock climbing wall. Antique farm equipment display at Fire Station. Bandstand opens, hamburgers, sausage, french fries on the Park.
11 a.m. — Car Cruisin’ in the Village at Tom’s Garage. Call 365-4291.
11 a.m. – 2 p.m. — Commemorative postage cancellation at the Masonic hall.
11 a.m. – 4 p.m. — Quilt show at Washburn Memorial Church.
11:30 a.m. — Roast pork dinner by Soupah Tuesday Gang at  Washburn Memorial Church.
