Falcons beat UM-Augusta,
tie Unity  to move to 3-5-1

    The NMCC Falcons recorded a win and tie last weekend on the road. On Saturday they took on UM-Augusta and emerged with a 15-1 win as Josh Allen (Presque Isle) scored four goals and added an assist. Brandon Anthony (Bridgewater) and Pat Goodall (Oakfield) recorded three goals and two assists each. Matt Till (Caribou) chipped in with a pair of goals and an assist. Goalie Brad MacKenzie (Fairfield) made three saves on seven shots.

    On Sunday the Falcons took on Unity College in a game played in the rain. Neither team could put the ball in the net as the game ended in a 0-0 tie through regulation and two overtime periods. MacKenzie had 12 saves on 17 shots and Unity keeper Ian Sypec recorded 10 saves on 21 shots.

    The Falcons now stand at 3-5-1 and play host to EMCC tonight at 7 p.m. at the Presque Isle Middle School turf complex.

Little Wildcat registration begins
