ACAP moves employment services
PRESQUE ISLE — Officials with the Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP), the organization that provides services and programs that are designed to combat poverty, have announced that the agency’s employment and training staff will move from the Presque Isle CareerCenter to ACAP’s Main Office at 771 Main St.
Beginning Oct. 18, ACAP’s employment and training staff can be contacted by calling 764-3721 or 1-800-432-7881. ACAP employment and training staff located in Houlton and Madawaska will not be affected by this change.
ACAP provides the people of Aroostook with services and programs in the areas of health, nutrition, child and family, energy and housing, community services and employment and training, and as a leader or in partnership with others, provides guidance to the community in responding to emerging human needs.
