    DEKALB, TEXAS – Muriel M. Lipe, age 82, of Fairview, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Lipe was born November 17, 1929 in Bridgewater, Maine.
    She was retired from Red River Army Depot, a member of the Bridgewater Historical Association,  Friendship Baptist Church, Fairview, Texas and is preceded in death by her brothers, Mahlon Shaw and Russell Shaw.
    Survivors include her husband, Ray Lipe of Avery, Texas; three sons and one daughter-in-law,  Dale Lipe of Dallas, Texas, Charles Lipe of New Caney, Texas, Robert and Margot Lipe of Orlando, Florida; one daughter and son-in-law, Katrina and Stan Foreman of Fairview, Texas; one sister, Alta Joslyn and family of Wolcott, Connecticut; two grand-children, Randy Lipe of Orlando, Florida, Jeremy Lipe of Oklahoma; one great-grandchild, Austin Lipe of Oklahoma; one great-grandchild, a special friend, Cody Lipe of Oklahoma; and a number of other relatives and friends.
    Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2012 in Avery Cemetery, Avery, Texas.
