Enjoying fall

East  Grand High School Outdoor Education student Austin St. Pierre, left, tries his hand at moose calling during prime rutting season. This year there are five boys and five girls enrolled in the outdoor program. Students are introduced to various types of guiding opportunities throughout the school year. Recently students took part in the planning stages of an overnight canoe trip including researching the river, coming up with community and personal gear lists, packing and making up a menu. The students are looking forward to a St. Croix River canoe trip once the soccer season is completed.
