Community invited to Woodland play

CARIBOU — Woodchucks will take to the stage on Friday, Nov. 16 as they perform “The Fisherman and His Wife” for the community at 6:30 p.m.

The students are putting on the comedic show through the tutelage of Children’s Stage Adventures, a traveling theater group that teaches students everything they need to put on the show in under a week’s time.

All are welcome to attend the entertaining show and support the theatric endeavors of the Woodland students.


Turkey Shuffle Basketball Clinic at Rec Department

LIMESTONE — The Limestone Recreation Department will hold its annual Turkey Shuffle Basketball Clinic on Nov. 19 and 20 from 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Veteran’s Gymnasium. Students in grades Pre-K through 4 are invited to participate. The cost is $2 per player. During the clinic, players will learn basic skills and fundamentals such as shooting, dribbling, playing defense and passing techniques.
