The 2012 Friends and Needles Quilt Guild Raffle drawing was held Nov. 24 at the Houlton Recreational Department’s Winter Craft Fair. Heather Zakupowsky, left, holds the ticket bag, while a young lady, whose eyes are secured by Barbara Sharpe picks out the winning ticket. Monica Campagna of Groton, Conn. was the winner. She was visiting the area this summer and attended the Friends and Needles annual quilt show and purchased her ticket during that visit.
