The Ashland Union Congregational Church on the Sheridan Road will be hosting a “singspiration” Sunday, Dec. 23 beginning at 4 p.m. Various churches of different denominations will be joining together to play and sing in fellowship and in the spirit of the season. All are invited to join them.
MAKING BEAUTIFUL MUSIC TOGETHER — Performing recently at the Ashland District School auditorium was the Aroostook River Voices musical ensemble. Made up of Ashland area students, teachers and community members, the group consists of singers and musicians who all share a love of music.
SHINE YOUR LIGHT — In a touching presentation to Aroostook River Voices founder and conductor Larry Hall, chorus member Patty Rafford presented Hall with a “conductor’s light” on behalf of the chorus.
The church will also be holding its Christmas Eve service at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Monday, Dec. 24. Please contact the church for more information.
