Meeting to aid Washburn grads
WASHBURN NEWS

Washburn high school students and their parents or guardians are invited to attend a special meeting to learn more about financial options available in planning for college.
On Thursday, Jan. 10, at 6 p.m., a very important training session will be offered by Chris Bell, the financial aid director at UMPI. Parents and students need to attend and learn how to complete the FAFSA from an expert. Remember, all post-secondary ed schools require the FAFSA even if you are only applying for a student loan.
Students and parents must have PIN numbers to complete the FAFSA; it is recommended that they obtain PIN numbers prior to the meeting. You can get your PIN numbers by visiting www.pin.ed.gov — it only takes a few minutes to complete. Before the training session, you may also want to go to: www.finaid.ucsb.edu/fafsasimplification/index.html to view “Seven Easy Steps to the FAFSA.” Mark this on your calendar today! Don’t miss this opportunity.
