National Honor Society members

collect clothing

EASTON NEWS

by Debbie Smith

The National Honor Society is having a final fling to collect clothing for Catholic Charities. Catholic Charities will sell the clothing and buy food or fill whatever needs they may have.

On March 2 students with the National Honor Society will be coming to your house to pick up clothing if you have any to donate. If you would like these students to pick up your items of clothing call the school at 488-7702 and leave your name and address. There will also be a vehicle in the high school parking lot that day and you may drop off your clothing and put them in the vehicle if that is more convenient for you. Thank you so much for your help.

Lady Bears

We would like to congratulate the Easton Lady Bears for their great season. We appreciated all of your hard work all year and always putting 100 percent into your games. Thank you for being such fine young ladies that we are all very proud of. Congratulations to Rachael Tomlinson for a great job this year. We truly appreciate you and Miss Phillips for your coaching skills and for your love of the game and the players.

Cheerleaders

We would like to thank our Lady Bear cheerleaders for all of their hard work and many practices to cheer for our Bears. We appreciate each one of you.

Easton Bears

We are so proud of our Easton Bears this season. You have shown great character all year long. You have had many bad calls and still kept playing without complaining. You work so hard and it showed. We are all excited about going to the tourney. I know by the time this comes out we will know the results from that game. I know you guys can win and you have the drive and determination and skills to win. Proud of all of you and how you conducted yourselves all year. A game and the players always have a coach to thank for the way they perform. We are very fortunate to have such a great coach. Coach Kingsbury has done a great job with these young men not only with their basketball skills but in teaching them character. We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication. Also Coach Warren is a blessing to our team as assistant. Thank you, Danny.
