SMYRNA — On Friday, Maine Drug Enforcement Agency agents arrested a second suspect in relation to a methamphetamine manufacturing operation discovered in Smyrna Feb. 13.
MDEA agents, assisted by Maine State Police, arrested 30-year-old Brian Sanford, of Smyrna, at his place of work in Oakfield and charged him with Class B, trafficking in methamphetamine. Sanford’s alleged role was that of assisting Felisha Suitter in the process of making methamphetamine. Suitter was arrested last week and charged with aggravated trafficking after MDEA’s lab team executed a search warrant at her Timoney Lake Road home in Smyrna.
Sanford posted bail and is scheduled to appear in Aroostook County Superior Court on March 20. If convicted, Sanford faces up to 10 years in prison.
