MPS offers free ductless heat pump session
PRESQUE ISLE — Maine Public Service Company will host a free information night on ductless heat pumps on Wednesday, March 13, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Edmunds Conference Center at the Northern Maine Community College.
The 90-minute informal presentation will include a brief overview of a ductless heat pump system, the benefit of having one and a demonstration by Ed Lilley of Fire and Ice in Ashland.
“The workshop is a great opportunity for homeowners to see for themselves how a heat pump works and how having a ductless heat pump installed in their home can save up to 50 percent of their current heating bills,” said Nancy Chandler, MPS workshop organizer.
There will be light refreshments and several drawings of energy-efficient door prizes. Please pre-register for the workshop by calling Chandler at 760-2556 or e-mailing nchandler@mainepublicservice.com.
This workshop is open to the public.
