TURCOTTE, Germaine M., 88, LIMESTONE, at Houlton, March 10, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Limestone. Arrangements are in the care of Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, Limestone.

    LIMESTONE – Germaine M. Turcotte, 88, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Madigan Estates in Houlton. She was born January 13, 1925, in St. Leonard, NB, Canada, the daughter of Joseph and Lena (Ouellete) LaFrancios.
    Germaine attended St. Louis Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, for many years, was a Lady of St. Anne and was in the Golden Age club in Caribou.
    She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Cyr of Limestone; brothers, Alcid LaFrancois and his wife, Grace, Oneil Lafrancois and his wife, Helen, and Gilford LaFrancois, all of Nevada City, CA, Nelson LaFrancois and his wife, Cecile of Tacoma, WA, and Robert LaFrancois of Minnville, OR; sisters, Florence Turcotte and her husband, Alfred of Pelitine, IL, Jean Deane and her husband, Wilfred of Buckfield, ME; two grandsons, Danny Cyr and his wife, Beverly of Crestview, FL, and Randy Cyr of Limestone. She also leaves behind two great-granddaughters, Kelsey and Arinne of Crestview, FL.
    In addition to her parents, Germaine was predeceased by her husband, Rene Turcotte in 1973; a brother, Reno Lafrancis; two sisters, Mabel Hebert and Jeannette Cones.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, Main Street in Limestone with Rev. Emile Dube celebrant.
