HANSON, Mary Bishop, 87, KENTUCKY & MAINE, February 25, 2013. There will be a graveside service at Riverside Cemetery in Fort Fairfield at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    KENTUCKY & MAINE – Mary B. Hanson of Lexington, KY, passed away on February 25, 2013, after a period of declining health. She was born on February 13, 1926, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Donald and Elva (Topham) Bishop. Mary attended Fort Fairfield schools and graduated from Westbrook College. She married Norman Hanson of Mars Hill and because of his career, traveled to and lived in Pennsylvania, Vermont, Alaska and Kentucky.
    Mary was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Evelyn; brother, Donald; and her husband, Norman. She is survived by her son, Steven Hanson of Pittsfield, ME, his wife, Jane and their daughter, Hilary, of New York City; daughters, Susan Langley and her son, John of Lexington, and Jane E. Hanson of Hilton Head, SC. Mary is also survived by her niece, Carolyn Bishop of Fort Fairfield.
    There will be a graveside service at Riverside Cemetery in Fort Fairfield at a later date. Arrangements are by Duncan Graves Funeral Home.
