The 2012-13 Greater Houlton Christian Academy middle school girls finished the basketball season undefeated with a record of 16-0.
They also won the Aroostook League Championship this season for their division.
The team included Rylee Warman, Makayla Watson, Jennah Carver, Kristen Brewer, Grace Graham, Teagan Ewings, Olivia Nadeau, Bailey Donovan and Jaime Brown.
The GHCA middle school team consists of grades 5-8 because of the size of the school.

“We began with this group of kids three seasons ago by calling up just about every parent of every girl in the middle school to get enough kids to play,” said coach Clyde Warman. “We took our lumps for the first year. We didn’t worry about wins and losses, we kept working the fundamentals knowing that the wins would come later.”
This season showed the fruits of what hard work can do to a team who sticks together through the difficult times while continuing to get better and play for each other.
“I’m extremely proud of this group of kids. I can’t wait to see what they can become as they get older,” Warman said.
