Free tax help available
Presque Isle — With less than a month left before the income tax filing deadline, the IRS and the Aroostook County CA$H Program continue to offer free tax preparation at the United Way of Aroostook at 480 Main Street (third floor).
The site is staffed with volunteers who will help prepare tax returns and file them electronically for free. The service is available until April 11, with appointments available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-8 p.m.
