They bring back the memories
Glowing;
As they encounter us;
Shy and bright
We look at each other, smiling
Our eyes meet
And we are thankful
For each other
No one may know
But we promise to love forever
That was summer
It’s been a while
Every minute seems like an eternity without you
And every second I see you;
The moment vanishes into the thin, crisp air
I think about you all the time
The words that you said to me burn to dust in my heart
And I cry by myself
Keeping our promise;
Still loving you forever.
