Superstars here Friday

The Harlem Superstars will be back in the Shiretown on Friday.
The Superstars will visit the Houlton Elementary and Southside Schools during the afternoon and will play a game against the seniors that night at 7 p.m.

Although basketball is a major part of their success, it is not the most important part of the organization.
“The Harlem Superstars realize that kids are the future and sometimes they may need to be encouraged, nurtured and given a few kind words of advice,” said their website. “We carefully hand pick our basketball players who enjoy motivational speaking, interaction with kids and who are truly respectable young men.”
The Harlem Superstars are Chris “Super Chicken” Turnquist, Kevin “Showboat” Jackson, Chuck “Skyscrapper” Henson, Cliff “Will Fly” Malone, a former Globetrotter; Donnie “Razzmatazz” Seale and David “Cool Dave” Fields.
