    PORTLAND & CARIBOU, ME – Mona (Hafford) O’Neal, 77, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013, in a facility in Portland. She was born in St. Francis, ME, November 7, 1935, the daughter of Vincent and Elsie (Brownell) Hafford. Mona was married to Larry O’Neal I on March 20, 1970.
    She was predeceased by her
husband, Larry O’Neal I; her parents, Vincent and Elsie (Brownell) Hafford; two brothers, Vincent Jr. and Dana Hafford; three sister, Ann Lovley, Viola Walker and Rose Akers.
    She is survived by four sisters, Mary West, Ida (Blondie) Beaulieu, and Ella (Babe) Leighton all of Fort Fairfield, and Christine York of Presque Isle; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Stephen and Tammy (Beaulieu) Michaud of Portland, and Larry O’Neal of Houlton; a daughter and son-in-law, Hazel (O’Neal) and Shawn Smith of Princeton, NJ; four grandchildren, Mariah O’Neal of Houlton, Casey and Kyle Smith of Princeton, NJ and Carlee Michaud of Portland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
