The first Wednesday of May the Happy Losers held the weekly meeting at the Congregational Church vestry in Island Falls. Jackie Pratt, the leader opened the meeting with the usual pledge and roll call.
Eight ladies weighed-in and six attended. Dotty Rand and Shirley Sides were the losers of the week and Jackie Pratt was runner-up. Great job ladies, so says Philie. Mary Shaw was the person who lost the most weight for March and April.
The secretary and treasurer gave reports for the week. The leader led the program for the week. An eight-question quiz with interesting and informative answers.
