Ruby Elizabeth Marquis, 94, of East Hampton, widow of the late Leo Joseph Henry Marquis, died Sunday April 28, 2013. Born Sept. 10, 1918, in Smyrna Mills, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Iva (Chase) Condon. Ruby moved to East Hampton in 1951 and raised her family.
She is survived by her sons, Leo C. Marquis of East Hampton, Eugene Marquis and his wife, Wendy, of VT; a daughter, Sharlene Gagnon of ME; eleven grand-children; and many great-grand-children. She was predeceased by two sons, Cedric and Steven.
Funeral arrangements are private. Burial will be in the family plot in Maine. The Spencer Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
