The Houlton Golf Club is open and carts are in use. An early bird greens fee walking special for nine holes is $12 and for 18 holes, $20, available for the first month of play.

On Thursday, the first Men’s Supper of the year is scheduled. A sirloin steak with baked potato and vegetables will be served by our new General Manager Leigh Dow.
On Thursday, May 30, a meeting for all players participating in the Men’s Twilight League will be held at 7 p.m. at the clubhouse. New rules, scheduling, scoring and other pertinent information will be shared for the upcoming season, which begins Monday, June 3. If your team is new to the league this year, at least one player from your team is required to be at the meeting. We have 32 teams in the field and look forward to an extremely competitive league.
The 12th annual Memorial Tournament will be played Saturday, June 8. The four-person scramble will be an 18-hole event this year, weather permitting, with a shotgun start of 1 p.m.  Get your team ready and sign up now. We are looking for a full field for this inaugural 2013 golf event. All proceeds go toward the beautification projects and gardens around the course.

On the same day, Saturday, June 8, we plan to have our first social and supper of the year. A roast beef/baked haddock supper will be prepared by Dow and his staff after the Memorial Tournament at 6 p.m. Members and guests are welcome.
