Mortland named to Dean’s List
    GREENVILLE, S.C. — Robyn Mortland, a junior piano pedagogy major from Presque Isle, was one of approximately 1,500 Bob Jones University students named to the Spring 2013 Dean’s List.
    To quality, students must earn a 3.0 grade point average.
    Bob Jones University is a biblically faithful, liberal arts university.
Morrison graduates from St. Michael’s
    COLCHESTER, Vt. — Melissa Sophia-Rae Morrison, daughter of Dale and Michele Morrison of Presque Isle, graduated from Saint Michael’s College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology at the college’s 106th commencement exercises held on the college campus May 12.
Hayes gets degree
    STANDISH — Jessica Hayes earned a Master of Science in Education degree at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine.
    Saint Joseph’s College is Maine’s only Catholic liberal arts college, providing a supportive, personalized and career-focused education for more than 100 years.
Two make NESCom honors list
    BANGOR — The New England School of Communications announces the honors list for Spring 2013.
    Steven Carmichael of Mapleton and Sophia Willette of Presque Isle both earned honors.
    The New England School of Communications is a small college located in Bangor. NESCom offers Bachelor of Science degrees in communications technology, entertainment production and media studies.
Labbe named salutatorian at Kingswood University
    SUSSEX, New Brunswick — Matthew Labbe of Presque Isle graduated 2013 class salutatorian at the 68th commencement of Kingswood University.
    Earning placement on the Dean’s List every semester, Labbe graduated with Summa Cum Laude academic honors on May 4 and received the Bachelor of Theology degree. He is the son of Pat and Bev Labbe.
    Kingswood University is a faith-based institution of The Wesleyan Church and is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education headquartered in Florida.
