The flags are up along the Ludlow Road and four more have been purchased. One was in memory of James McCain and one to honor Irvin Stevens as he is a veteran, one to honor Rod King as he is a veteran and one to honor Hallie Miller, Charles Smith and Gregory Smith.
Flags purchases can be made at the Town Office or a check can be sent to Town of Ludlow, P. O. Box 487, Houlton, Me. 04730 for $42 to cover the cost of the flag, pole and bracket. Please specify where you would like the flag placed when you make your order.
Two associate members are needed on the Planning Board. Anyone interested can attend the next selectmen’s meeting or call the office. The next Planning Board meeting is scheduled for July 11, 2013 and it is advised that interested people sit in on a meeting to acquaint them with the function of the Board.
ATV and Boat licenses are available at the Town Office. Don’t forget to register trailers if the registrations are expired. Also, puppies over the age of 6 months must be licensed.
A Tracfone was found with its black leather case on the Ludlow Road near Joe’s Road and is being held at the office for the owner to claim.
Slow down hauling your boats on the Ludlow Road. Someone left two life jackets on the road recently. Hope they found them on their way home.
