Students honor mothers
PRESQUE ISLE — Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classes at Cornerstone Christian Academy recently hosted a Mother’s Day Tea. Mothers received invitations to attend the tea, at which students performed a song entitled “You Are Special” and told each mom why they were special to them.

In addition, each student presented a personally-made quilted hanging of their very own to each mother.
Moms and students had a wonderful lunch together and photos of moms with their children were taken as a memento of the occasion. Pre-K teacher Marcy Heald and kindergarten teacher Allison Bull planned and prepared students for this event.
