Hamm joins East Grand Health Center

    DANFORTH — Jeff Hamm has been chosen as the new administrator to East Grand Health Center, located on 201 Houlton Road in Danforth. Hamm has close to 15 years experience working in the Healthcare industry, primarily in Health Information Technology and working with organizations in federal and state compliancy programs.

    Hamm received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Maine in Farmington, graduate certification in the management of computer information technology from Regis University in Denver, Colo. and has held a previous certification as a project manager professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in Newton Square, Pa.
    “I have had the privilege of working with the staff at East Grand before and I am excited to continue working with them in this new role” Hamm said.
    Hamm’s appointment comes as the result of the retirement of Priscilla Knights- whom served as Executive Director for East Grand since 2002.
    East Grand Health Center is a federally qualified community health center. It was organized to develop and maintain a health care delivery system of the highest quality for all people regardless of social or economic circumstances, in a confidential, respectful and humanistic manner.
    The vision of the East Grand Health Center is to provide a medical home for the residents of the area.
    It strives to provide high quality, cost-effective primary health care services to all who need them. EGHC collaborates with other health care service providers in the area in an attempt to provide the most comprehensive services possible in order to best serve the needs of the community.
