LIMESTONE — Health and safety will be the topic of this month’s Second Saturday event at the Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Sponsored by the refuge’s Friends Group, guest Penny Kern will demonstrate hands-only CPR and how to control bleeding with demonstrations taking place at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m.
First aid supplies will be available for visitors to make small, personal first aid kits.
The refuge is located at 97 Refuge Rd. in Limestone and additional information can be obtained by calling 328-4634 and leaving a message or visiting the Friends website or Facebook page.
