The Northern Maine Antique Tractor Club, (NMATC), will host their sixth annual “Memorial Tractor Trek,” on Saturday, July 13, in the central Aroostook area.
This year’s trek will start at 9:30 a.m. in Fort Fairfield from the Phil and Tami Kilcollins Farm, on the Center Limestone Road. Registration is at 8:30 a.m.

The trek route will go to Presque Isle on Rte. 167, with a lunch stop at the Pit Lane Restaurant. After lunch, the trek will travel north on Rte. 1 to Caribou, and then back on Route 161 to Fort Fairfield. The estimated distance for the trek will be 43 miles.
Donations for this year’s trek will be given to both Hospice of Aroostook and the “House of Comfort” Hospice House Project. Donations of $25 in memory of a loved one will also be honored by placing their name on a Memory Board that will be mounted on the body of an antique farm truck that will lead the trek.
For more information please contact Jane Bartlett, Trek chairperson at 538-9297 or e-mail bartlettfarms@pwless.net.
The public is invited to participate with their antique tractors, but must be a member of the NMATC for insurance purposes. Memberships will be accepted the day of the trek. Forms are also available on the club website at www.nmatc.org.
