UMF spring 2013 Dean’s List
FARMINGTON — Officials with the University of Maine at Farmington announced on July 12 the school’s Dean’s List for the spring 2013 semester.
Local students achieving the distinction included Shannon Butler, Chelsea LeBlanc and Philip Smith, all of Caribou, and Joshua Worthern of Limestone.
Kieffer makes Dean’s List
PAUL SMITH’S, N.Y. — Lydia Kieffer of Caribou has been named to the Dean’s List at Paul Smith’s College for the spring 2013 semester. Kieffer, who majors in hotel, resort and tourism management, earned a semester average of 3.3 or higher to receive this distinction. Kieffer was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.
UMO Dean’s List
ORONO — Officials with the University of Maine recently recognized 2,032 students for achieving Dean’s List honors in the spring 2013 semester. Of the students who made the Dean’s List, 1,715 are from Maine, 254 are from out of state, and 63 are from foreign countries.

UMaine-Machias Dean’s List
MACHIAS — Local residents were among more than 280 students from the University of Maine at Machias who were named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2013 semester:
Tressa Philbrook of Caribou, Demerese Montgomery of Limestone and Jenna Bouchard of Van Buren.
Thomas College Dean’s List
WATERVILLE — Named to the Dean’s List at Thomas College for the spring 2013 semester are Taylor Arey, majoring in elementary education, and Sarah Peterson, majoring in sports management. Both students are from Caribou.
