Greater Houlton Christian Academy (GHCA) announced a recent grant award in the amount of $3,200 from the Orlie and Vicky Price Memorial Fund of the Maine Community Foundation for the purpose of upgrading its high school science lab.

“We received a grant last year for $3,190 from the same donors,” explained Daniel Angotti, GHCA high school science teacher. “New science equipment has enhanced our curriculum and has helped develop our students’ skills in many areas. We are so pleased to be able to continue the upgrades we started last year.”     Angotti has a degree in electrical engineering and has taught in private and public schools in Florida and Maine, including summer courses at the Maine School of Science and Mathematics in Limestone.
