Houlton Rotary Club President Lori Weston announced that the Houlton Rotary Club is accepting requests for funding of projects for the 2013-14 Rotary year.
All funding requested should be submitted prior to Friday, Aug. 30, to: Houlton Rotary Club, P.O. Box 425, Houlton, ME 04730.
The Houlton Rotary Club has supported such local projects in the past as: the “Just for Kids” playground equipment project, Literacy Programs in local schools, Backpacks for Kids, Riverfront Project, Aroostook County Historical & Art Museum, Salvation Army, Cary Library, Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum, Soap Box Derby, Aid for Kids, Friends of Aroostook, Adopt a Block and several international Rotary projects.
The Houlton Rotary Club, with more than 60 members, has served the greater Houlton area for more than 80 years.
