ELWIN JOURDEN
JOURDEN, Elwin, 87, New York on July 23, 2013. There will be a memorial service July 25, 2013, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Caribou, at 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Elwin Jourden went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 23, 2013. Elwin was born in Corning, New York, December 26, 1925. He was the son of Grace Elizabeth McCleary Jourden and Forrest Jourden of Livonia, New York.
Elwin’s career was a glass blower, mechanic, school bus driver and a carpenter. He was a veteran of World War II.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Joan, and daughter, Kathryn. He had two step-sisters, Betty and Carlin. Elwin had several grandchildren which included Heather and Jennifer. He was predeceased by a son, James.
Elwin attended the church of Latter Day Saints and was a faithful member and friend to the church and parishners. There will be a memorial service July 25, 2013, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 67 Paris Snow Drive in Caribou from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
