CARIBOU – Evelyn M. St. Peter, 93, wife of the late Sandy St. Peter, died July 22, 2013 at Caribou with her family by her side. She was born in Grand Falls, N.B. Canada, January 13, 1920, the daughter of the late Fred and Addie (Roberts) Michaud.
Mrs. St. Peter was a longtime member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
A loving and devoted mother, she is survived by her five children, Theresa M. O’Neil, Carol A. Conley, Sandy “Mark” St. Peter, Kim Gahagan, and Craig P. St. Peter. Evelyn was also blessed with three extraordinary and caring in-laws, Fred Gahagan, Patricia (Saucier) St. Peter and Tammy (Bubar) St. Peter Carvalho; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Maynard Michaud and one sister, Deda Sams; as well as many devoted nieces and nephews.
Mrs. St. Peter was predeceased by her husband, Sandy, on January 12, 2013; a grandson, Matthew Gahagan; and four brothers.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at a future date and time to be announced by the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou. Interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
