Thomas Beckum was the first male and Lauren Hodge the first female to cross the line of the 21st annual Pie Run or Island Falls Summerfest 5K Run/Walk held Aug. 3 in Island Falls.
Beckum ran the course in 17.26 and Hodge, 20.27.
The first walker to the finish line was Allen Schenk in 30.14 and the first female walker was Gail Davis at 31.03.
In the Kid’s Run, first went to Lucas Streinz, 8; second, Teanne Ewings, 6; and third, Conner Walker, 8.
