Boarding home appreciates support

To the editor:
May we, The Southern Acres Residential Care Facility, publicly thank the Mars Hill IGA and the many ticket buyers who responded to our letter in The Star Herald, announcing our raffle of our hand-crafted, lawn display wishing-well to raise money for our shut-ins’ Bingo games and other mind-awakening and spirit-raising activities of our activities department.

Your response was a heartfelt exchange of goodwill and is as inspiring as the $83 we received. If the saying is true that “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts,” then our whole voice (The Star-Herald) is greater than the sum of our voices, and our soul is greater than the sum of our psyches.
Hence we feel a renewed sense of unity with community for your outer supportive connection with us, which is expressive of our infinite inner interconnectedness. And isn’t it our oneness of Source that is our greatest Reality?
