OAKFIELD, Maine — Work to replace eight culverts is scheduled along South Oakfield Road in Oakfield during
the month of September.
Due to this work the road from the intersection at Thompson Settlement Road in Oakfield to the intersection at Drews Mill Road in Linneus will temporarily be closed for through traffic between the dates of Sept. 3-30.
Access to camps on Skittacook Lake will be available from the Linneus end of the South Oakfield Road. Sargent Corporation of Stillwater will be performing the work during the period and any questions or concerns in regards to the project may be directed to Sargent Corporation at (207) 827-4435.
