Located at 789 Main St. in Presque Isle, Arby’s has received a major facelift this summer.
“Our dining room and restrooms have been completely remodeled,” said owner Michael Collins. “We have new floors, new tables, new booths, new chairs and new counters. It’s beautiful now. We wanted to make it more convenient and more comfortable for our customers.”
While the look of the restaurant has changed, Arby’s still features the same delicious menu.
“We offer one of the best varieties of sandwiches in the industry with fresh sliced turkey, ham, corned beef and our angus beef line,” said Collins. “Some of our Arby’s specialty items include our curly fries, jamocha shakes, baked potatoes, prime cut chicken and — of course — our delicious, thinly-sliced, slow-roasted beef sandwiches.”
For Collins, a Presque Isle native, owning his own business is a dream come true. In December of 2009, he took over the local Arby’s Restaurant as a new franchisee.
“This is my first business and I wake up every morning with the idea that it is going to be a great day,” he said. “My staff and I have put a lot of work improving this store into one of the best Arby’s locations in the country.”
Collins said customer service is key to his business.
“It’s all about our customers. We constantly focus on providing the freshest and hottest product we can. We are sure to greet our customers with friendly service and smiling faces,” he said. “If we can make our customers happy, they will respond by keeping Arby’s in Presque Isle open for business for many years to come.
“We are all here to serve our customers to the best of our abilities,” said Collins. “It is the customer that keeps us employed and we always value any feedback and/or suggestions they may have. Our number-one goal has been — and always will be — to provide our customers with the best dining experience we can.”
