For anyone looking to redecorate their home with a country or primitive theme, or if you’re shopping for a home-decor or Christian-based gift, Brambleberry Market in Caribou is the perfect place to visit.
Offering an extensive selection of traditional, country, primitive and inspirational items, the quaint little shop located in the downtown mall on Sweden Street lends a hand in making a home inviting and cozy.
Since Brambleberry Market opened its doors in December of 2010, owner Debbie Sutherland has been helping customers pick out the perfect items for themselves or someone else.
“My customers are valuable to me,” Sutherland said. “I occasionally ask what they are looking for so that I can provide that product in my store in the future. I value their input and I listen.”
And that input has resulted in the recent addition of costume jewelry, scarves, blank note cards featuring the photography of New Sweden’s Chris Hearn, specialty photo frames and Willow angels and figurines.
Sutherland also includes in her inventory products such as wood signs, shelves, cupboards, birdhouses, fused glass pendants, note cards, maple syrup and historical building plaques that were all handmade by local artisans.
“I enjoy offering some local flair,” said Sutherland.
Those who visit Brambleberry Market can’t help but notice the comfortable, homelike atmosphere of the shop.
“Our displays are set up to help people see what items may look like in their own homes,” Sutherland explained. “We have a dining set and a fireplace that we do displays of our products on or around. It also gives the store a coziness.”
It’s more than unique, quality products and a soothing atmosphere that keep customers coming back to Brambleberry Market. Customer service is a top priority for Sutherland.
“I like to greet all my customers and help them in any way I can,” Sutherland commented.
A trip to Brambleberry Market embodies all that a local shopping experience should be — a warm, friendly atmosphere, exceptional customer service, top-quality products, and even free gift-wrapping!
