Cary Library Corner

Editor’s note: The following article is a synopsis written by staff members and volunteers of the Cary Public Library highlighting one of the suggested reading books, as determined by their staff.
A delightful children’s book has been added to Cary Library:

Olivier Dunrea’s  “Old Bear and His Cub” contains wonderfully rustic art work with conversations between Old Bear and his Cub which remind mothers and fathers of numerous conversations with their youngers.
“Yes,  you will.” “No, I won’t.” “Yes, you will.”
Then the long stare-down before compliance! Yet throughout the entire book, deep love and caring for one another is apparent. This is a great bedtime story and we predict a popular book for families.
This, and many others, are available to honor a loved one, or in memory of someone who adored bedtime stories.
The Cary Public Library is open Monday-Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 532-1302.
