BENEDICTA – Jane M. Rush, 83, of Benedicta, died Sept. 2, 2013, in Bangor. She was born Feb. 3, 1930, in Benedicta, the daughter of Harold and Josephine (Mahoney) Duffy.
She was a member of St. Benedicta Catholic Church and sodality.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Rush and her husband, Mark Gallivan of North Reading, Mass., and Cathy and her husband, Scott Sevigny of Fort Kent; two grandchildren, Sophie and Jacob Gallivan; six sisters and one brother, Regina and Breen Bernard of Newington, Conn., Judy Stickney of Augusta, Betty and Michael Coghlan of Columbia, Conn., Helena and Jim Brown of Shirley, Ark., Patricia and Rino Levesque of Plainville, Conn., Cathy Duffy and Reid Stanley of Benedicta and Mike and Joan Duffy of Benedicta; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Joseph; a daughter, Jacqueline; and brothers, Joseph and Robert Duffy; and sister, Mary Robinson and a brother, Francis Duffy.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at St Benedict’s Catholic Church, Benedicta. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday with Father Joel Cyr celebrant.
