LITTLETON — Another in the Southern Aroostook Soil & Water Conservation District’s 2013 “Farmer Connector” workshop series, a season extension class entitled, “Four Season Forward: Producing Year-Round Crops Using High Tunnels, Low Tunnels, and Quick-Hoops” will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at the high tunnel of Doreen Conlogue, 100 Ross Ridge Rd, Littleton.
The workshop will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m. It will be led by Clara Coleman, a second-generation organic farmer who writes and speaks about sustainable four-season farming.
